Welcome at NZPhotographer Magazine February 2022 issue

HELLO EVERYONE,
Welcome back to another issue! I hope you’re enjoying the Summer and managing to get out and about with your camera.
This issue contains o mixed bog of inspiration -something for everyone to consider trying, just perfect if you’ve been feeling a little lost in the inspiration department. Fairlie Atkinson is encouraging us to put our artist’s hot on and try some impressionism in our photography, Peter Laurenson recommends a hike up to Waimakariri Falls Hut, and Richard
reminds us it’s all about the experience and that we should never get so caught up in what we thought we would shoot, that we miss out on capturing the moment. Dave Vercoe takes us behind the shot in his moody storm photo, Alan Blundell is back with his 2nd installment on street photography and we’ve interviewed She/ley Harvey who explains that her portraiture, which is a mixture of creative beauty and grunge, is an artistic interpretation of life os she sees it. As always, the issue is wrapped up with your own photos, flip straight to the back pages to see if we’ve included your street photos!
