So, here we are with the March 2023 issue of the magazine, which is jam-packed with reviews! Inside, you will find an article by Chris Parkin on the brand-new CZ 457 MDT and the also new, Zeiss LRP S5 5-25×56 riflescope. Also fresh off the production line is the Pulsar Thermion 2 XQ50 Pro
thermal riflescope, which has been written up by Jules Whicker.
This magazine month I have also included a special by Mark Camoccio that lists some budget PCPs that are suitable for competition use. He has also reviewed an incredibly effective bullpup PCP from Effecto that’s called the Zeon and he has revisited the legendary Air Arms Pro Sport. Two more airguns that stand out from the crowd for different reasons are the Weihrauch HW44 multi-shot PCP air pistol and the tacticalstyled Hatsan Factor, both reviewed by Pete Wadeson. For something a little different, I have included some small pieces looking at some pellets from Air Arms and Qiang Yuan Sports.
If it is firearms that you are interested in, then I have included a review by Pete Moore on the (Ruger) Marlin 1895 SBL in .45-70. There is also a piece by
Bruce Potts covering a selection of .223 Rem factory ammo and an article by Chris Parkin on the Lithgow LA101 rimfire.
In the shotgun section, we have a couple of articles by Bruce Potts on the Beretta A400 Xcel Sporting ATS and some Gamebore Black Gold Dark Storm Precision steel cartridges.
The militaria section features the American Bazooka and the German Panzerschreck, plus Corfe Castle.
