Fusion Magazine – June 2023
English | 64 pages | pdf | 49.95 MB

Welcome to another keyboard-mashing,tape-chewing, time-travelling edition of FUSION Magazine. In this issue, we’ll traverse the gaming continuum between 1982 and 2023, with many stops taking in almost every generation of our beloved hobby. Among the digital excavations from the past, we’ve got 8-bit kung-fu, a 16-bit plumber, an Acorn operating system, a 32-bit Police Station, a selection of questionable toy design choices, and some “128-bit Emotion Engine” powered aerobatics.
Here in the present, we go fishing with Dredge, explore a tomb with a Jedi Master, sample the second C64 collection for Evercade, and catch up with our old friends, Bub and Bob, in Puzzle Bobble Everybubble! We also have event reports from this year’s OLL Video Games Convention in Norfolk,
UK and the SoCal Gaming Expo in Ontario, California.
While we’re on the subject of events, I’m sure most of you will be aware of the ZZAP! Live event taking place in August, and the second CRASH Live! event in November. The FUSION team will be at both events, and we hope to meet some of you there. You can head to fusionretroevents.co.uk to find all the info and buy tickets.
