While all the time spent outside soaking up the rays can lead to a natural boost in mood, managing diabetes is hard work no matter the season, and you may need a little extra help maintaining your mental wellness. Whether you’re trying just a little too hard to achieve “perfect” blood sugar control (page 28), are looking for an empathetic peer to share in your diabetes dilemmas and victories (page 24), or are having difficulty overcoming a fear of needles to give yourself the best care possible (page 18), you will discover something in these pages that can help.
Maintaining memory is another crucial aspect of keeping our brains healthy.
