…to your January magazine issue – happy new year! Let’s start 2021 with a positive mental attitude, here’s hoping that this is a much better year for us all. We’ll start the positivity in this issue by looking at all of the wonderful new trends the world of cake is offering right now!
One of my favourite trends on the rise is the use of dried flowers on
a simple tier. Emma Stewart adds a beautiful bunch to her stencilled design on page 14, and you can download the stencil she used for free on our website! I do love a bit of animal print, and we welcome new contributor Dani Brazier of Blue Door Bakery to show how you can hand paint the print in a subtle way on page 18 so it’s not too ‘in your face’!
One of the biggest cake trends you will see is the treat box, and we have not one but two fantastic tutorials following this trend! Turn
