By now, we’re all craving a summer holiday. But, the Kendrick household is going nowhere this year,regardless of the travel destinations that have recently opened back up to tourists. Instead, we’ll keep on doing what we’ve become so adept at doing these past few months: cooking for each other, and together.
Teaching my teenagers to cook has been one of the great blessings of this year. It feels like I’m properly preparing them for their future as adults. They’re pretty good at it, too: check out my youngest proudly showing off his banana muffins, above, and the chicken fajitas, right, held by my 15-year-old. We’ve got loads more inspiration for family cooking in this issue to see you through.Whatever you’re doing, have a great time.
