Highlights of Auto Today August 2018 issue:
With the August 2018 issue of Auto Today we complete three supercharged years of exhaustive motoring coverage. In this issue, we break the news of Hyundai’s upcoming India offerings that include a compact SUV, the new Santro and an EV as part of our Top Story for the month. Kia’s preview of their possible India line-up now sees us experience the Rio X-Line crossover hatchback. And just to give you a glimpse of the competition they can expect, we pitted the Hyundai i20 Active, Honda WR-V and the Ford Freestyle against each other in our Road Test for the month. Another Kia that impressed us was the Sportage SUV and it was only right to see how it stacks up against its Hyundai sibling, the Tucson. Honda has updated the Jazz for 2018 and the drive features in our Refreshed section. We shot the car in the rains and figured that you could surely use some crucial tips on dealing with the monsoon hence we curated an extensive Monsoon Guide.
A lot of exciting motoring events have happened in the past weeks as we bring you the International Engine of the Year winner, this year’s highlights from the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Audi’s Sportscar Experience at the BIC, the Royal Enfield Himalayan Odyssey, the third leg of our Fort Trip with Hyundai and much more. We were also thrilled to get our hands on the new BMW G310 motorcycles and review the G 310 R and GS while Suzuki’s impressive new 125cc scooter, the Burgman takes the premium scooter game forward.
As always, do checkout our round up of news from the world of automobiles in the Update sections and progress reports of our longterm fleet of cars and motorcycle. Next month, we’ll be bringing you the bumper third anniversary issue of Auto Today. Until then, happy and safe motoring.
