Welcome to Vegan Food & Living magazine November 2020 issue
As we write this, none of us are quite sure what Christmas is going to look like this year. In truth, we’ve probably never wanted to be sat around a big table surrounded by our family and loved ones quite as much as we do right now. But whatever happens, the one thing you do have control of is getting to fill the festive season with lots of delicious Vegan food. After all we definitely deserve a little indulgence. A good place to start is the fun and fabulous gingerbread trifl e that adorns our cover recipe on page 32 but is that do quite tick the box
for you, we’ve got some unusual takes on Christmas puddings from page 84, and everything from stollen to speculaas rule log from page 27.
Over the last few weeks we’ve been watching with interest as the supermarkets have revealed their plant-based Christmas range. We have to say that we’re impressed with their eforts this year they are really quite innovative. But if you ask us, when it comes to the Christmas Day centrepiece, there’s nothing that quite compares to something you’ve made yourself, so we’ve got lots of delicious ideas to inspire you from page 14. You will find plenty of great sides here too, from vegan sausages wrapped in bacon to stuffing, glazed parsnips an cranberry sauce,so
you are all set for a true festive feast, whether you’are feeding four or 40.
This year, 10th October marks World Mental Health Day and here at Vegan Food & Living magazine we’are deticated to raising awareness about Dental health as it’s never been more relevant or important than it is right now. So throughout October we’ll donate 10p for every copy of the magazine sold to bathmind.org.uk to help with their fantastic work. So thank you for buying this issue and helping us to support them .
