I have to announce that this is the final issue of Practical Photography. I was a reader long before I joined the editorial team back in 2000, and it was always my dream to work
in publishing, so to find my self not just working on, but editing a best-selling magazine for so many years, has been a true honour. I want to personally thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart for making this possible. You bought the magazine, you entered our competitions, you sent us letters and emails, and you gave us a passion and a purpose. A magazine like this is only ever as strong as its readers, and you truly are the most creative and committed bunch I’ve ever known. Just promise me one thing – that you’ll keep creating, sharing and encouraging.
