With the new season comes our April issue which is full of colourful and inspirational features. We take a look at some popular flooring choices throughout the rooms in your home, from wood and tiles to carpet, rugs and laminate in a wide selection of colours, patterns and textures. In addition, how you decorate the walls in your home will contribute hugely to the atmosphere and interior design of each room. In our wallcovering feature we showcase a wealth of creative ways to finish walls and leave them looking fabulous. Our sinks, taps and dishwashers feature offers everything you need to keep your kitchen squeaky clean.

This month we are delighted to offer you an insight into three very different homes. Firstly we visit a restored Victorian rectory in Bangor, County Down which cleverly combines contemporary furnishings and finishes with period features and has spectacular views over Belfast Lough. We then visit a new build in Dunshaughlin, County Meath where every design element has been carefully considered to create a well zoned space to cater for all the different functions of the home. Last but certainly not least, is an invitation to Florida to visit a magnificent six bedroom American classic home which has been restored with flair by its Irish owners and brought back to its former glory.

The Spanish town of Altea is our destination abroad this month, situated on the coast, with fantastic beaches, culture galore and lots of leisure attractions to keep you entertained. Closer to home we feature the town of Ballymena, gateway to the North Coast with plenty of things to see and do in the area, an abundance of shops and is home to one of the best spas in Ireland! The cookbook on offer is Estela by Ignacio Mattos and over five pages we feature a selection of delicious recipes for you to try at home. Finally, our gardening expert Deirdre talks about the colour pink in the garden.
