Guns Magazine – May 2023
English | 68 pages | pdf | 34.54 MB
So, here we are with the April 2023 issue of the magazine. In this issue, you will find 10 pages covering all the latest airguns, firearms, shotguns and thermal/NV gear from the British Shooting Show 2023. There are some new and exciting brands emerging into the UK market, which is always nice to see, so definitely go and take a look. Airgun-wise, I have included a review of the new BRK Brocock Sahara XR PCP, the Umarex UX Trevox air pistol and the surprisingly affordable, Kral Puncher Maxi, which comes in at under £400. All of them have been written by Mark Camoccio. You will also find a write-up on the Hammerli Hunter Force 900 Combo by Pete Wadeson.
If it is firearms that you are interested in, then I have included a review by Chris Parkin on the new and very exciting, Sig Sauer Cross. There is also a test of a truly-modern long barrel pistol (LBP) from Grand Power; the K22 X-Trim. Jules Whicker kindly wrote it up for me and I was pleased to accommodate it, as it has been a while since one has been in the magazine. Finally, you find an article by Pete Moore on the Bergara B14 HMR Green in .300 Winchester Magnum. In the shotgun section, I have written a review of the Mossberg 500 Hunting All Purpose Field Synthetic pump-action shotgun. Plus, Bruce Potts talks about some Lyalvale Express Ultimate Steel cartridges.
In the militaria section, John Norris discusses the Pacific Theatre of Operations during WWII and the Les Longues Battery.
Enjoy, and as always, safe shooting!
